Mr. Besselaar is the founder of Princeton Investment Advisors, Inc. (PIA) and serves as the company�s current President and Chief Investment Officer. He is also an officer of Omnivest (Bermuda) Ltd., an investment holding company based in Bermuda. During Mr. Besselaar�s tenure at PIA, Omnivest has invested in many highly successful investment partnerships, with investment mandates that have focused on distressed debt, convertible arbitrage, event driven transactions, long/short equity, private equity and buy-outs. Mr. Besselaar assisted in the representation of a 40% equity stake in PharmaNet, Inc., an international contract research organization and portfolio company of Omnivest, by serving as an active member of that company�s Board of Directors from 1999 until its sale to a strategic buyer in 2004 for approximately $250 million. Mr. Besselaar also served as a General Partner of River Capital Partners, Ltd., a multi-manager fund geared towards high-net worth offshore investors. Mr. Besselaar has a bachelor of arts degree in international relations from the University of Richmond and a master�s degree in real estate development and finance from Columbia University. |
