Mr. van Paasschen was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. in September 2007. Prior to joining Starwood, he served for two and a half years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Coors Brewing Company. From 1997 to 2004, he held several senior positions with Nike, Inc., including Corporate Vice President/General Manager Europe, Middle East and Africa from 2000 to 2004. From 1995 to 1997, he served as Vice President, Finance and Planning of Disney Consumer Products. Prior to that time, Mr. van Paasschen held various management positions with Boston Consulting Group, Goldman, Sachs & Co. and McKinsey & Company. Mr. van Paasschen also serves on the Board of Directors of Oakley, Inc. and Starwood. |
