Mr Skouverøe joined the Board in 1993. He is Chairman of the Compensation Committee, and a member of the Audit Committee. He has been in the offshore business since 1976. Under his time as CEO of Stolt-Nielsen Seaway (Seaway), a predecessor of the Company, the Group grew to become the leading subsea contractor in Norway. Also in his time as CEO, Seaway acquired Comex Services SA for the combination to become one of the leading subsea contractors worldwide. Mr Skouverøe has been on the Board of Ocean Rig ASA since 1996, a publicly quoted drilling contractor. He is the longest serving Board member. He has successfully participated in start-up of new ventures, in projects for turning around and growing companies in a variety of industries throughout his career. He has an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc from the Technical University of Norway. Mr Skouverøe is a Norwegian citizen.
