Fredrik Peyron received a Bachelor of Laws degree from Lund University and his law career has involved court service, work at a law firm and as a corporate lawyer at Akzo Nobel AB.
Fredrik Peyron joined Swedish Match in 2000. He was initially employed as a corporate lawyer and was promoted in 2001 to Vice President Legal Affairs, became Deputy General Counsel in 2004 and in 2007 Fredrik was named General Counsel, Senior Vice President Corporate Legal Affairs.
