As Executive Vice President of Revenue Generation for Carlson Hotels Worldwide, Fredrik Korallus is responsible for creating, expanding and integrating revenue generating strategies in all of the company's brands and business operations. He reports directly to Paul Kirwin, president of Carlson Hotels Worldwide - The Americas.
Specific areas of responsibility include sales, marketing, distribution and revenue optimization, with the overall goal of creating a well integrated, go-to-market strategy for these functions.
Korallus brings to this position broad global experience in the hotel industry, having served in leadership positions in Carlson hotel brands in Asia, Europe and the United States. Most recently he served as a Senior Vice President for Future Openings and Franchise Operations at The Rezidor Hotel Group, Carlson's largest partner in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In prior positions within Rezidor, he served as Senior Vice President and COO of Park Inn hotels, leading a period of aggressive expansion of this brand in the EMEA. He also served in the role of Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Rezidor.
Korallus also served in various executive sales and marketing positions with Radisson Hotel operations in Asia, the United Kingdom and Washington D.C. In other experience, he successfully engineered a management buy-in and turnaround of the Hotel and Catering Training Company (HCTC), the UK's largest training provider serving the hospitality and leisure industries.
Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, Korallus has a degree in hotel catering and institutional management from Thames University in London. |
