Mr. Larcombe has a strong background in business and finance with particular expertise in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. He began his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 1978 and joined Cambrex, a publicly-held life sciences company, in 1991 where he held various positions of increasing responsibility at operating company and corporate levels and was instrumental in the consummation of several domestic and international acquisitions. Beginning in 1999, he served as Chief Financial Officer with ProTeam.com, Inc., a publicly held Internet-oriented retailer, where he helped them successfully emerge from a Chapter 11 reorganization as a viable enterprise. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Larcombe served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance with MicroDose Technologies, Inc., a privately-held drug delivery company where he was involved in fund raising, contract negotiations, shareholder relations, and legal and administrative affairs. During 2004 and 2005, he worked as a consultant with Kroll Zolfo Cooper's Corporate Advisory and Restructuring Group and independently provided consulting services to a variety of companies. Mr. Larcombe received his BS in Accounting from Seton Hall University and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School 's Program for Management Development. |
