Frederick R. Medero, Managing Director. Mr. Medero joined Kincannon & Reed in 2002 to head the firm's San Francisco office. An entrepreneur, risk management expert and venture capitalist, Medero is an attorney who has served with distinction on both Wall Street and Capitol Hill. He has been vice president of investment banking with Kidder, Peabody & Co., director of risk management for Deloitte & Touche, LLP, San Francisco, and executive director of the International Swaps & Derivatives Association, New York. Highlights of his government service include being chief operating officer of the Farmers Home Administration, the largest federal agency for lending to agriculture and rural agribusiness enterprises, general counsel of the Farm Credit Administration, and director of the securities and corporate practices division in the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. A native New Yorker, he graduated with a B.A. from Queens College, earned his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law and took his LL.M. from New York University Graduate School of Law. He is a board member (Northern California) of the Federalist Society, a Trustee of the Society's Center for Law and Entrepreneurship, and a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals. |
