Fred, who has 37 years of trust experience, founded Freedom Trust of Boston and Concord, N.H. in 1995, and served as President and Senior Fiduciary Officer. As Senior Vice President, he oversees the Trust and Estate division for First Financial Trust and serves as the chairman of the Trust Administration Committee. He will also develop client relationships for First Financial Trust, directing clients to professionals within the firm who can address their specific financial needs. Before founding Freedom Trust, Fred served as Vice President and Senior Trust/Investment Officer at Cambridge Trust Company; Vice President and Senior Client Officer for Boston Safe Deposit and Trust Company, and as a Registered Representative at Paine Webber, Inc. in Boston. He began his trust banking career with the Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan/Chase Manhattan Bank) in New York City and worked on Wall Street at the U.S. Trust Company of New York. He earned the designation of Certified Trust and Financial Adviser (CTFA) from the American Bankers Association. He earned his bachelor's degree from Fordham University and his MBA in investments and taxation from the Graduate School of Business at New York University. He serves on several charitable foundation boards, and is a member of the Massachusetts Estate Planning Council and the Financial Planning Association. |
