Frederick F. Cripe is senior vice president, Product Operations, Allstate Insurance Company and a member of the Allstate senior management team. As senior vice president of Product Operations, Cripe is responsible for Allstate's pricing, product management, underwriting and research and development.
Cripe joined Allstate in 1979 as a senior analyst in property pricing, progressing through a number of actuarial assignments in home office before joining the underwriting department in 1987. He returned to auto pricing in 1988 to lead the research division and in 1990 was promoted to assistant vice president of Auto Pricing Research. His other leadership assignments included: assistant vice president in Marketing, assistant vice president -Urban and Ethnic Markets, and general manager of Specialty Lines. He was promoted to vice president, Policy and Pricing in 2000 and in 2003 vice president, Product Operations where he led the management of the pricing, policy and forms, risk management, compliance, shared markets, R&D and technology/data areas for Allstate's personal lines business.
Cripe is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He has served as Chairman of the CAS Committee on Risk Classification and the CAS Committee on Research Policy and Management, and as a member of the Actuarial Standards Board Casualty Committee. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Highway Loss Data Institute.
Cripe holds a B.S. in mathematics from Manchester College. |
