Frederick D. Vastine is a patent agent who works in the chemical arts. He has extensive experience in the prosecution of patent applications in many different chemical technologies, including polymer chemistry and monomer preparation. Before joining the firm, he spent a number of years as a senior chemist with ARCO Chemical Company.
Dr. Vastine received a Ph.D. degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he majored in organic chemistry and minored in analytical chemistry. His thesis work involved studies with organoiridium and organorhodium complexes. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Ursinus College, Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Vastine is a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Institute of Chemists. |
