Frédéric Gilles Sourgens is an associate in Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy's Litigation Group located in the Washington DC office.
Frédéric works primarily on international arbitration matters. His experience includes commercial arbitrations under the ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL Rules and investor-state arbitrations under the auspices of ICSID. Frédéric so far has worked on cases involving U.S., German, French, English, Middle Eastern, Latin American, Eastern European and Asian parties, procedural rules, or claims. Frédéric, with the help of local counsel, has also consulted clients on non-U.S. litigations.
Frédéric is fluent in German, French, Italian and Norwegian and has analyzed or translated legal documents and scholarly articles in Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Danish and Swedish.
Frédéric is a graduate of the United World College of the Adriatic, Duino, Italy. He holds a candidatus magisterii degree in Classics from the University of Oslo and a Master of Arts in Political Philosophy (The Idea of Toleration) from the University of York (UK). Frédéric graduated from Tulane University Law School in 2005. |
