Fred joined Steel Dynamics in 1999 as investor relations manager handling communications with all classes of investors and serving as liaison with investment-bank and independent equities analysts. In addition his responsibilities include news releases annual reports meetings corporate presentations and the corporate Web site. Fred also handles media relations community relations and edits the quarterly employee magazine Dynamic Details.
Prior to joining Steel Dynamics Fred was employed for more than 20 years in the industrial sector of the General Electric Company where he held positions in engineering market research marketing administration systems and customer service. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University and served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. |
