Fred D. Gibson, Jr. has been a Director of the Company since 1982. Mr. Gibson served as Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board and President of the Company and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of each of the Company's subsidiaries, from 1985 to July 1997, and Chairman of the Board until March 1998. Mr. Gibson also served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Engineering & Production Co. of Nevada, the predecessor company to American Pacific Corporation, from April 1966 until May 1988. Until July 2002, Mr. Gibson was a Director of Nevada Power Company (now Sierra Pacific Resources), an electric utility for more than five years. Mr. Gibson has also been a Director of Cashman Equipment Company, a distributor of Caterpillar Equipment for more than five years. Mr. Gibson currently is a private consultant and serves as a consultant to the Company on an -as requested - basis. |
