Fred Arcuri began his career at SureWest in 1975 as a telephone lineman. He worked his way up through the company ranks to become products and services director, then executive director of emerging business, and now as senior vice president and COO. He also serves on the Board of the SureWest Political Action Committee.

Aside from a continued commitment to local and area not-for-profit organizations, he has served as chair of the California Telephone Association's marketing committee and chair of the United States Telecom Association's competitive local exchange committee. Currently, he serves on the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, on the Broadband Service Providers Association executive committee and is a Sr. Fellow in the American Leadership Forum - Mountain Valley Chapter.
