Frank Plimpton is a Director of First Albany Companies Inc. Mr. Plimpton is also a Director of NorthernStar Natural Gas, Inc. and Renewable BioFuels, LLC. Mr. Plimpton has been a partner of MatlinPatterson Global Advisors LLC since its inception in July 2002. Mr. Plimpton has over 26 years of experience in reorganizations, investment banking and investing. Prior to July 2002, Mr. Plimpton was a member of the Distressed Securities Group at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Plimpton holds a BA in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Harvard College (cum laude, 1976). Mr. Plimpton received a law degree from the University of Chicago Law School (1981), and an MBA (1980) from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. |
