Frank assumed his current position in March 2004. He began his nearly 40 year career in Telecommunications as a Western Electric installer and rose to a number of leadership positions in both the United States and Europe. Prior to his arrival at Amedia, he was the Senior VP of Business Development for AVC Global Services’ Government networking division. Mr. Galuppo had a long and distinguished career at Lucent Technologies; his last role there was as President of Lucent's Optical Networking Group. In that position, he had worldwide responsibility for the development and marketing of Lucent's optical portfolio which had annual sales of over $1 billion. Frank has had extensive international exposure. From 1996 through 1999 he led Lucent’s R&D center in Nuremberg, Germany. In earlier positions, Frank traveled extensively throughout the world in support of Lucent’s customers. |
