Frank V. McMahon is vice chairman and chief financial officer for The First American Corporation. In this role, McMahon is responsible for First American?s financial reporting division, capital markets activities and investor relations. In addition, he oversees the operations of First American Trust and First Security Thrift, as well as works with senior management on strategic planning and merger and acquisition activities.
A seasoned veteran, McMahon has specialized in advising financial institutions and has been involved in many of the large mergers and acquisitions that have shaped the financial services landscape on the West Coast. Prior to joining First American in March 2006, McMahon served as managing director with Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc., where he managed the company's West Coast financial institutional practices for six years. He has also managed a similar group for Merrill Lynch.
McMahon holds an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Villanova University. |
