Practice and Experience
Mr. Chévere's main areas of practice are labor relations, representation and unfair labor practices before the National Labor Relations Board, collective bargaining, labor arbitration, employment counseling, employment law litigation in local and federal courts, and alternate dispute resolution.
Education
He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science, cum laude, from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., including studies at the University of Sussex in England. He holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in Philadelphia, with a concentration in labor law.
Admissions
Mr. Chévere is admitted to the practice of law before the courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
Memberships
He is a member of the Puerto Rico and Federal Bar Associations, the American Bar Association and its Section on Labor and Employment Law, where he is a member of the Committee of Development of the Law under the National Labor Relations Act, and the Association of Labor Relations Practitioners. |
