Frank Meyer, 55, has been Terra’s Executive Vice President since August 1, 2007. He was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1995 to 2007. Frank has announced his intention to retire in the 2008 first half. Until then, he will be responsible for Corporate Development activities. Frank joined the company as Corporate Accounting Manager in 1978. Frank earned a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Iowa and is a Certified Public Accountant. Before joining Terra, he was an auditor for Arthur Young & Company in Milwaukee and Des Moines. He is active in civic, charitable and community service. Frank leads with professionalism, ethics and intelligence. His knowledge extends well beyond the financial workings of the company and into the nuances of the industry in which Terra operates. Frank inspires his subordinates to take personal responsibility for their work with a hands off management style that allows employees latitude in achieving their goals. He fosters excellent performance from those who work with him, while still managing to remain approachable and available to anyone who needs his advice or support.
