Mr. Francis (Frank) Girard serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Vertical Communications (formally Artisoft Inc.). Frank, has served as Vice Chairman of Comverse Network Systems Inc. (CNS) (world leading supplier of messaging and enhanced services for major telcos worldwide). He served as CEO from 1998 to January 2001 of CNS, accomplishing sales exceeding of one billion dollars per annum. From May 1996 to January 1998, he served as President & CEO and Director of Boston Technology Inc. (Boston a company that was merged into the Company in January 1998). Prior to that, he served as Boston’s Executive Vice President. Previously he was Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Support of NEC Information Systems Inc.(the United States distributor of NEC). Frank served as Director of Sales and Marketing Reseller Marketing Programs at Wang Laboratories, Inc. from 1983 to 1985, in addition to several other sales and marketing positions in the technology industry. Mr. Girard holds a Bachelor of Science from Merrimack College, where he now serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. |
