Biography As a managing director with 37 years experience in the securities industry, Fount facilitates portfolio asset allocation recommendations, money manager selection, and investment performance monitoring. Fount leads MICG’s due diligence effort of reducing market risk (Beta) and increasing manager performance (Alpha). In the 1970’s, Fount developed the Investment Consulting Program for Wheat First Securities (currently First Union Securities) and has managed seven investment consultant branches throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.This Richmond native is a University of Richmond business graduate, a Supervisory Principal, and a Managing Director. Fount has been active in a number of civic and charitable organizations throughout the state of Virginia from Chairman of the Heart Fund in Petersburg to the restoration of the Wells Theatre in Norfolk, to active participation for 25 years in Rotary International. |
