As President of the Industrial Division, Forrest oversees all aspects of Cousins' industrial investment, development, leasing and management. Forrest was instrumental in the formation of Cousins/Weeks, the joint venture with Weeks Properties that marked Cousins entry into the industrial real estate market in 2004.
Forrest Robinson came to Cousins from South Florida's Codina Group, where he served as President of Development and as a member of its Executive Committee. At Codina, he was responsible for activities relating to land and property acquisition, financing, project management, development and asset disposition. He also developed and maintained the institutional relationships of the company with AMB Property Corporation, Prudential Real Estate Investors and TIAA-CREF.
Prior to joining Codina Group in 2001, Forrest was an Executive Vice President with Duke-Weeks Realty Corp. running the Florida region. Duke-Weeks was formed with the $6 billion merger of Weeks Corp. and Duke Realty Investments in 1999. Prior to the merger, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Weeks Corp., where he led the company's development, construction, marketing and property management groups. Over his 22 years at Weeks, Forrest was responsible for more than 30 million square feet of development.
Forrest began his real estate career in 1976 with Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate in Atlanta. Prior to his work at Coldwell Banker, he was with Kraft Foods Corporation in the Retail Sales Division.

Memberships and Civic Involvement: Robinson is a past president and advisory council member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Georgia and South Florida Chapters. He is a member of ULI and previously played an active role in the South Florida community as Trustee at Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and Director of Coral Gables Community Foundation, serving on the Executive Committee.
