Dr. White is an Assistant professor in the Biological Engineering Division at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research is focused on quantitative analysis of cellular signaling networks on a proteome-wide scale with site specific resolution. After receiving his Ph.D. from Florida State University in 1997, he was a post-doctoral associate in Don Hunt’s lab at the University of Virginia from 1997-1999, where he developed an improved method for affinity capture of phosphorylated peptides. After completion of his post-doc, Dr. White joined MDS Proteomics as a Senior Research Scientist with the task of further developing protein phosphorylation analysis methodology (phosphoproteomics). In July, 2003, he joined the Division of Biological Engineering at MIT as an Assistant Professor and has recently been named as a Mitsui Career Development Professor. |
