Fernand Perreault oversees the real estate activities of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, including strategy development, management and evolution of the portfolios. He also co-ordinates the operations of the Real Estate group’s member companies, i.e., Cadim, Ivanhoe Cambridge, SITQ and their network of partners, subsidiaries and affiliates.
Background
Mr. Perreault was appointed to his current position in 1995 after eight years as President and Chief Executive Officer of SITQ, a member of the Caisse's Real Estate group. As part of his current duties, he serves as Chairman of the Board of the Real Estate group's main member companies.
Fernand Perreault completed a law degree at University of Ottawa. Before joining the Caisse, he was Vice-President, Mortgage Insurance, with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC).
