Felicia M. Hulit represents both lenders and borrowers in the acquisition, construction, and refinancing of multi-family housing and healthcare facilities. Ms. Hulit has represented national commercial lenders in FHA financing utilizing low income tax credits and tax-exempt bond financing. Her experience also includes closing FHA insured urban renewal projects involving mixed use financing and Hope VI funds. She has also represented a national commercial lender in one of the first FHA insured financings utilizing both historic and new market tax credits. She joins the lawyers in the Affordable Housing practice group in their work with financial institutions, government entities, nonprofit organizations and private developers to secure financing and development assistance for single and multi-family housing projects that benefit elderly and low-income individuals. Before joining Miles & Stockbridge, P.C., Ms. Hulit was a partner in the Real Estate Department of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll LLP and was a member of the Housing and Transactional Finance Practice Groups. Ms. Hulit is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and was a team coordinator for the National Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Ms. Hulit is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A., 1988) and the George Washington University School of Law (J.D. 1991). She is licensed to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
