Evelyn Fuhrer has over 25 years of experience working in the financial services industry, providing a wide range of business and technology advisory, strategy, management, and implementation services. Evelyn is a Managing Director at Promontory Financial Group specializing in technology risk evaluation and remediation. Prior to joining Promontory, Evelyn served as an IBM Executive and a Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers where she built a $75 million practice and managed 300 practitioners. Clients spanned Capital Markets, Banking, and Insurance firms and included Fortune 500 companies, such as: JPMChase, Fidelity, MetLife, Credit Suisse First Boston, Goldman Sachs, and Citibank/Salomon Smith Barney. At Merrill Lynch, Evelyn was the Vice President of the Trading Technology Department, providing leading edge technology services to their Global Capital Markets businesses. She was responsible for developing systems to support 24 hour trading for arbitrage, options, block, warrants, and convertible bonds. She designed and developed a fully functional disaster recovery environment to support Equities and Fixed Income traders. Evelyn Managed the Merrill Lynch Ticker Plant and Historical Pricing service which provides real time, end-of-day, and historical prices for all domestic and selected international instruments. Evelyn interacts regularly with senior executives, participates in industry initiatives, and has lectured at conferences. She is a member of the CIO Collective and the Women's Bond Club. Evelyn has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, and a Masters degree in Computer Science, both from Brooklyn College. |
