Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron, Evan co-founded Optisave, LLC, which provided strategic telecommunications sourcing, optimization and expense management consulting services. Optisave worked with telecommunication providers to negotiate and deliver cost efficient and effective telecom solutions for their clients.
Earlier in Evan's career, he managed the launch of MCI WorldCom's Global Network Voice Services in 18 countries, and improved the speed, accuracy and efficiency of MCI's invoicing process and customer and supplier communications. He later served as an executive manager at Primus Telecommunications Inc. and as a vice president for Arbros Communications.

National Law Firm
Led comprehensive review of the firm's domestic voice and data infrastructure. Surveyed current consumption and compared to best practices, which led to system selection, design and implementation for a projected savings of 30%- 35%.
Large Hospital System
As part of a comprehensive review of all spend categories, defined a sourcing strategy to minimize costs associated with voice, wireless and data services across multiple scenarios at the request of the creditors committee.
500 Unit Retail Chain
Analyzed voice, data and wireless spend and developed methodologies to reduce costs and improve capabilities for a national home improvement chain. Implemented an expense management system that allowed costs to be allocated among individual retail stores and insured the accuracy of invoices and contracts.
Global Communications Provider (GCP)
Designed, developed, and implemented voice, data, and Internet solutions for several civilian federal agencies including the Social Security Administration, NASA, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Energy, State Department and Defense Department.
Department of Housing and Urban Development
Implemented virtual private networking (VPN) for the Department of Housing and Urban Development to enable more than 10,000 employees to telecommute, and designed a network to connect more than 70 field offices with HUD's six regional datacenters. Features included video-conferencing, e-mail and host and streaming video.
