Eugene Vaisberg is the key founder of ChemBridge Corporation and its spin-off ChemBridge Research Laboratories, Inc. (CRL), and has served as Chairman and CEO of both companies since their inception in 1993 and 2000 respectively. His major responsibilities include overall corporate growth strategy, which has fueled the Company's steep self-funded growth from a small entrepreneurial start-up to a global enterprise with over 400 employees. He is also responsible for major research collaborations with top pharmaceutical companies including strategic alliances with Merck and Pfizer, which involve over 150 ChemBridge and CRL scientists. Prior to founding ChemBridge, he held various research and management positions of increasing responsibility in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and biotech industry, from research scientist to the Chief Executive Officer of a international joint venture company with Roche. He received an advanced Degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry in Moscow, Russia in 1979 and completed corporate senior executive training at Roche in Basel, Switzerland in 1988. |
