With 30 years experience in growing companies and raising venture capital, Eugene Fischer provides valuable expertise in raising funds for growth and providing value to shareholders. A director of PlanetCAD from March of 2000 until its merger with Avatech, Fischer’s wealth of experience includes finding and managing investments within healthcare, information technology and outsourced business services. His background includes financing emerging growth companies, managing private and public funds, and helping companies to go public or facilitating acquisitions by larger firms.
Fischer spent 14 years with Bank of America managing the largest corporate banking group that focused on early-stage venture financed technology companies such as Apple Computer. He capitalized on his investment expertise and joined Technology Funding Venture Capital and served as a General Partner from 1983 to 1988. Ever the entrepreneur, he founded venture capital firms Pathfinder Ventures in 1988 and Capstone Ventures in 1996. He holds a B.S from the University of Minnesota and an M.S. from the University of California, Davis. |
