After working with Conseco as an interim executive and business consultant, Bullis was appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer of Conseco, Inc., in the fall of 2002.
Since 1990, Bullis has specialized in turnaround consulting, mergers/acquisitions and start-up assignments for major corporations and institutional investors.
Before joining Conseco, Bullis was chief financial officer of ManagedOps.com, Inc., a New Hampshire-based software services outsourcing and technology consulting firm. Bullis had moved there from the CFO position at Manufacturers' Services Ltd., where he had successfully launched the company's IPO.
Bullis has also performed the turnaround/crisis management functions at Physicians Quality Care, Inc., Computervision Corporation and Centennial Technologies, holding the position of chief financial officer at each firm. From 1979 to 1989, Bullis held a series of senior management positions, including CFO, at Wang Laboratories. Earlier in his career, Bullis was a partner with Ernst & Young with a concentration in services to insurance clients.
He is a graduate of Colby College, a certified public accountant and is a fellow of the Life Management Institute. |
