Etienne Menard, Founding Scientist, obtained a PhD degree in Chemistry at the University "Pierre et Marie Curie" (Paris, France) and the Department of Material Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) under the direction of Denis Fichou at the "Laboratoire des Semi-Conducteurs Organiques" (CEA/SACLAY, France) and Prof. John A. Rogers at UIUC. He received an engineering diploma in Electronics from the National Polytechnic Institute of Engineering in Electrotechnology, Electronics, Computer Science and Hydraulics (ENSEEIHT) at Toulouse (France) in 2002. His research has been featured on the covers of recent issues of Applied Physics Letters, Physics Status Solidi A, Advanced Materials and others. He is a co-inventor of much of Semprius' technology with Professors Rogers and Nuzzo and joined the company in December 2005. |
