Erin Scanga is an associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment practice. Erin joined Drinker Biddle after practicing as an associate at McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP in Morristown, New Jersey.
In General. Erin is a 2001 graduate of the University of Chicago where she received her bachelor’s degree in African and African-American Studies. Erin received her J.D. cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2005, where she was the associate editor of the Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law and authored the comment, Glass Ceiling Employment and Racial Discrimination in Hiring for the Head Coaching Position in the National Football League, which was published in 2004. While at Seton Hall University School of Law, Erin was also a member of the Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Board, the director of the Eugene Gressman Moot Court Competition, and a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board where she received an award for appellate brief writing at the Pepperdine National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition and was given the Class of 2005 Award for Excellence in Oral Advocacy.
Prior to joining the firm, Erin served as a law clerk to The Honorable Yolanda Ciccone, P.J.S.C., now Assignment Judge of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties.
