Mr. Hagstrom has spent the past 20 years in the medical device industry. While at Biotronik Inc, Erik held the position of Bio-medical Electronics Engineer and later was the Quality Manager for the US office. The bulk of his career was spent at SeaMED Corporation where he held positions of Design Engineer, Project Director and Vice President of Engineering. During this tenure he was involved in the design and manufacture of over 30 medical devices spanning a broad clinical spectrum. When SeaMED was acquired by Plexus Corporation, he remained with the company as Vice President of Seattle Design Center. After leaving Plexus, Erik worked as an independent consultant in the areas of Quality Systems/ Design Controls and organizational synergies before joining up with Light Sciences Oncology. Mr. Hagstrom holds a BS in Wildlife Science from Oregon State University and a BS in Electronics Engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology. |
