Mr. Lawrence joined the Firm in 2007 as an associate in the Business Department. He specializes in general business and corporate matters with an emphasis in representing investment funds and advisers, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to law school Mr. Lawrence served as an associate vice president in commercial banking with Wells Fargo Bank.
EDUCATION
Mr. Lawrence received his B.S. degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis in 1997, where he was a captain of the football team. He received his J.D. from the University of California at Davis in 2007. At Davis, Mr. Lawrence was Managing Editor of the UC Davis Law Review, was a member of the Order of the Coif, received the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in both Federal Taxation and Antitrust, and was awarded the Deborah J. Frick Memorial Scholarship. |
