Erich Stolz, CTP, is a hands-on senior executive with extensive experience restructuring under performing companies and creating highly profitable entities. Erich has a proven track record of maximizing business value potential while serving in executive roles such as CEO, COO, President, CRO and CFO. He is an expert in boosting profits and cash flow, implementing restructuring and growth strategies, acquiring / integrating and selling companies, developing financial and operating plans, and overseeing insolvency proceedings.
Previously, Erich served as the Founder and President of a consulting firm specializing in turnaround management and mergers and acquisitions. Among his many accomplishments, Erich turned around a steel fabrication company, reversing their $2M loss to a $6M profit; provided interim management to a $345M technical services and engineering company; and facilitated the successful sale of a $567M industrial products manufacturer.
Prior to his consulting work, Erich served as the President for a leading equipment manufacturer and engineering company. Erich revitalized this declining company, accelerating sales and boosting manufacturing efficiency during his tenure.
Erich also served as the Business Unit General Manager for a European Division of Mercedes-Benz, where he was responsible for five manufacturing and seventeen sales / technical service offices throughout Europe. During his tenure, Erich boosted sales of two declining product lines from $61M to $289M with resulting improvement in profits from zero to $22.4M.
Erich is a Certified Turnaround Professional, a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner. He has published numerous articles in publications covering the turnaround management industry and regularly speaks at Turnaround Management Association events.
Erich received his MBA in Marketing from Marquette University. He also holds an MS in Engineering from Drexel University and a BA in Accounting and Finance from Elmhurst College. He is fluent in German.
