Eric Roach joined CHS in July 2001 and currently has financial responsibilities for hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Prior to joining group operations, he served as Assistant CFO at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, Ala., where he was promoted to CFO in November 2001. He was transferred to Regional Hospital of Jackson in Tennessee in 2003. While in Jackson, in addition to his CFO duties, he oversaw the operations of the West Tennessee central business office which coordinated billing and collections for seven West Tennessee hospitals. Prior to joining CHS, Roach was a CFO for Ameris Health Systems at Prentiss Regional Hospital in Mississippi. Roach earned his bachelor’s degree at Middle Tennessee State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
