Eric serves as Vice President, Global Support, Global Technology for InterContinental Hotels Group PLC.
As Vice President, Global Support, Global Technology, Eric manages information technology solutions and support services for IHG’s (InterContinental Hotels Group) technical support desk for more than 3,700 hotels around the world. Eric also directs telecommunications and desktop services and support for all corporate facilities located in North America. He leads a team of senior level managers responsible for day-to-day service delivery of these programs for IHG. Eric serves as the information technology chief communications officer to the IAHI (owner's association) for IHG franchisees.
A 33-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Eric joined IHG in January 1998 as Senior Director, Global Customer Care, where he had strategic and tactical responsibility for providing information technology solutions to IHG technical support operations and hotels globally.
Prior to joining IHG, Eric served with various divisions of AT&T Corporation starting in 1974. During his tenure with AT&T, Eric served in roles of increasing responsibility, including regional manager of support services, regional sales and services manager, sales director with the AT&T Network Systems division, district manager of new markets development, and division product manager for AT&T’s re-entry into the local service. Eric began his career in the telecommunications industry in 1974 as a directory assistances operator in Denver, Colorado.
