Eric Goorno is President of Urology and Gynecology at Boston Scientific Corporation.
Eric joined the Company in 1996 as Vice President and General Manager of our Miami Technology Center. Most recently he was Vice President, New Market Development and Strategic Planning for Boston Scientific’s Urology and Gynecology business. In this role, Eric initiated a global strategic planning process for the business and established its new market development function. This included the acquisition and integration of BEI Medical, and its HTA treatment for excessive uterine bleeding, an activity that Eric led. Previously, Eric was Vice President of Operations for the Company’s Microvasive divisions. In both the Spencer, Indiana and Miami, Florida facilities, Eric established long-term strategic plans, and helped propel the plants to significantly improved performance.
Prior to Boston Scientific, Eric spent eight years at Synthes USA, the global leader in the orthopedic trauma market. He held a variety of positions at Synthes in plant management, customer service management, and sales performance analysis.
Eric earned a B.A. with honors from Tufts University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. |
