Dr. Carson is an Orthopaedic Surgon and Sports Medicine sub-specialist currently serving as Associate Professor at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He is a Board Certified Diplomate, American Board Orthopaedic Surgeons and is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Association of North America. Dr. Carson has had multiple publications in peer review journals including book chapters as well as presentations at conferences worldwide. He completed residency in orthopaedic surgery at Harvard University Orthopaedic Surgery Program and completed a sport medicine fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Dr. Carson holds the rank of Major in the United States Army Reserve. |
