Dr. Fain was promoted to Executive Vice President, Development & Clinical/Regulatory Affairs for St. Jude Medical's Cardiac Rhythm Management business in January 2005.
Dr. Eric Fain became Senior Vice President, Development & Clinical/Regulatory Affairs of St. Jude Medical's Cardiac Rhythm Management business in June 1998. In this position, Dr. Fain is responsible for all cardiac rhythm management clinical and regulatory activities worldwide. Dr. Fain previously held the position of Vice President, Tachycardia Product Planning & Research. He originally joined Ventritex, Inc. in June 1987 as Manager, Clinical Research and was Vice President, Systems Development when St. Jude Medical acquired the company in 1997.
Dr. Fain received his M.D. from Stanford University School of Medicine and holds a Sc.B. degree in Applied Math/Biology from Brown University.
