Eric Johnson was appointed president of 40|86 Advisors Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Conseco Inc. in September 2003. Johnson joined the company in 1997 and has served as an officer of the company since 1998. In 2002 and 2003 he served as a member of the management restructuring committee of Conseco Inc. which directed the company's successful bankruptcy reorganization.
Johnson has over 20 years' experience in the financial services and investment field. Before joining Conseco Johnson served as senior vice president for National Westminster Bank a division of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. In this position he was responsible for management of proprietary investment portfolios.
From 1983 to 1987 Johnson worked with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company as an assistant vice president. In this role he oversaw credit-related assignments including the Merchant Banking Group.
Johnson holds a bachelor's degree in American history from Harvard University where he graduated Cum Laude. |
