Eric P. Sieracki serves as Executive Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer for Countrywide Financial Corporation (NYSE: CFC), a diversified financial services provider and member of the S&P 500. He is also a voting member of the Executive Strategy Committee.
Sieracki is responsible for oversight of the company's major financial departments, including corporate accounting, treasury, financial planning, strategic planning and taxation. He also serves as the companys senior manager in the areas of investor relations, corporate development and equity capital activities.
Prior to his appointment as Executive Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, Sieracki served as Senior Managing Director, Corporate Development and Investor Relations. He has also held the position of Senior Managing Director and Corporate Treasurer.
Sieracki joined Countrywide in 1988 as Senior Vice President of Countrywide Asset Management Corporation and directed corporate development projects under the guidance of then Chairman of the Board of Directors, David S. Loeb. In 1989, he was promoted to Executive Vice President of Corporate Finance in charge of finance and accounting responsibilities for Countrywide and all of its subsidiaries. Sieracki also has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Countrywide Mortgage Investments, Inc., a publicly traded affiliate of Countrywide. He was appointed to Managing Director in 1994, Senior Managing Director in 2002, and Executive Managing Director in 2005.
Prior to joining Countrywide, Sieracki was a Manager at Grant Thornton, a national accounting firm. Sieracki is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. |
