Eric's practice at Milliman is focused on healthcare finance and group insurance. Eric has extensive experience in the areas of financial modeling and forecasting of healthcare costs for strategic planning purposes, pricing of group insurance and managed healthcare products, reserving, and mergers and acquisitions of insurance companies. He has worked with numerous health plans and insurers in these areas, including work on medical coverage, life insurance, LTD, and reinsurance. He has assisted managed care plans and providers in pricing managed care plans, developing and implementing provider reimbursement strategies, analyzing and designing risk arrangements, and the assessment of actuarial liabilities. He has also consulted on several of the largest merger and acquisition transactions in the group insurance industryPrior to joining Milliman, Eric worked as a healthcare actuary for 12 years with CIGNA and CNA, where he developed extensive experience in the areas of employee benefit plans, group insurance, and reinsurance. Eric is active in the profession and has served on a number of industry committees. |
