Eric L. Killmeier is a registered patent attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice area, where he focuses his practice on drafting and prosecuting patent applications. He has experience in research and analysis for right to practice, patentability and infringement opinions. Mr. Killmeier has also assisted in processing patent applications before foreign patent offices. Mr. Killmeier was a mechanical engineer with experience in consumer appliance and medical device industries, designing and developing both manufacturing processes and consumer products. He has experience with adhesive dispensing, ultrasonic and laser welding of plastic parts, thin-film thermoforming and heat-sealing and statistical process control. Mr. Killmeier also has experience in inkjet technology development and co-invented an inkjet printhead corrosion protection method.He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the American Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association and Louisville Bar Association. Mr. Killmeier was Executive Editor of the Brandeis Law Journal while at the University of Louisville Law School. |
