Mr. Lund's litigation practice focuses on automotive products liability, product safety, consumer financial services, mass and toxic tort, and class action defense. Mr. Lund also is experienced in areas of franchisor/franchisee liability and transportation law.
Mr. Lund is a member of the Michigan, Virginia, District of Columbia and Illinois bars, and is admitted to practice in numerous federal courts across the United States.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Lund served a two-year federal clerkship with the Honorable Joe B. McDade, Chief Judge, U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
Mr. Lund is the Co-Chair of the Automotive Subcommittee of the Products Liability Committee, American Bar Association.
Mr. Lund is a frequent speaker and author. He co-authored "A Year in Review: State and Federal Product Liability Decisions of 2004" and presented it to the American Bar Association at the 2005 Mid-Year Products Liability CLE Seminar. Mr. Lund also co-authored sections of the ABA's December 2004 publication, "The Use of Toxicology in Tort Litigation, A Survey of Federal and State Jurisdictions"; "Franchisor Liability Under an Apparent Authority Theory", published in the American Journal of Trial Advocacy; and a paper entitled "Practical Considerations for the Successful Defense of International and Foreign Corporations in Domestic Product Liability Litigation" which was presented to the American Bar Association at its March 2002 Mid-Year Products Liability Conference.
