As the vice president of the Los Angeles office’s technology practice, Emily provides senior counsel on the YouTube, Boost Mobile, Ripple TV and GameFly accounts. With more than 10 years of experience, she specializes in branding initiatives, integrated marketing communications campaigns, lifestyle marketing, product launches and special events for Internet, digital media, wireless, entertainment, automotive and sports companies.
Emily joined Allison & Partners from Thunder Factory where she helped manage several pieces of IAC business, including Citysearch and Match.com. Prior to that, she worked on other high-profile brands including Hilton Hotels, Ford, Michelin, General Motors, Lamborghini, Nestlé and Mattel. Emily was a senior member of the Marketing Communications group at Fleishman-Hillard, where she managed a portion of the Yahoo! business, which included Yahoo! Autos, Yahoo! Search, Yahoo! Local and Yahoo! Movies.
In the sports and entertainment arenas, Emily executed product launches, special events, and community relations programs for Nike, while at Manning, Selvage & Lee. She worked with athletes such as Lisa Leslie, Carl Lewis, and Michael Jordan to help showcase the benefits of sports participation for young people.
Emily has a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with emphases in rhetorical theory and organizational culture from Loyola Marymount University. She also teaches an upper division course on Public Relations at her alma mater, and is consulting for the University to develop its first full PR curriculum, available to students in the Fall of 2008. |
