Dr. Hahn is the Chairman Emeritus of Andrx Corp. (NasdaqNM:ADRX), a public company. He served as President of Andrx Corp. from February 1993 until March 2003, as the Chairman of the Board of Directors from June 2002 until March 2003 and as CEO from October 2001 until June 2002. Dr. Hahn serves as a director of Andrx Corp., as well as a director of a number of privately held pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Hahn was Vice President of scientific affairs of IVAX Corporation (AMEX:IVX) from June 1990 until February 1993. In this capacity, he was involved in the evaluation and international licensing of product opportunities and was responsible for the intellectual property of IVAX. Since 1988, Dr. Hahn has been an adjunct associate professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He holds a bachelor’s degree from City College of New York and a doctorate in Chemistry from Cornell University. |
