Ellie Hourizadeh is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Los Angeles office. She is a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department and specializes in all areas of litigation, including trademark, trade dress, copyright and patent infringement.
Prior to joining the firm, Ellie worked with the Department of Corporations, Department of Justice and the U.S. Customs Department. Ellie specializes in trademark prosecution, including registering and filing trademarks with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), as well as intellectual property litigation including product seizure for trade dress and trademark infringement proceedings.

Representing motion picture studios in copyright infringement claims
Representing a major Spanish television and radio broadcaster
Representing apparel manufacturers in trademark, trade secret and unfair competition litigation
Ellie is a member of the American Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all California state and federal courts and the Western District of Michigan.
