Ellen rejoined Simmons in 2002 as head of the Simmons Integrated Marketing Solutions (SIMS) business unit, which encompasses the Simmons Custom Research, Advanced Analytic Solutions and Statistical Sciences teams. Ellen supervises SIMS' business and product development, placing special emphasis on providing custom solutions to clients using Simmons' toolkit of syndicated databases and proprietary modeling techniques. Ellen's 20 years of research experience has included custom and multi-client projects spanning a broad range of industries, from on-line and print media to consumer packaged goods to healthcare. Ellen's prior accomplishments at Simmons included initiating the company's first multi-client study of on-line consumers, developing the prominent People PopProfiles along with People magazine and serving as technical director for the CompPro technology study.



Before rejoining Simmons, Ellen worked on the consumer end of pharmaceutical marketing research and served as Senior Vice President of global patient studies at Market Measures/NOP World Health, where she identified and launched new syndicated research services into Europe and established joint product development opportunities for NOP World companies. Ellen also served as Managing Director/Research of Remedy Information Services at Rx Remedy, where she established recruitment and replenishment programs for a diary panel consisting of more than 30,000 consumers and handled the migration of the panel to the Internet.
