Ellen Hallett has served as Vice President of Business Development for The GCRH Corporation since 1998. Prior to joining GCRH, Hallett was President of Attitude Group, Inc., a marketing, design, Internet, and multimedia agency. From 1987 until 1996, Hallett was an employee of The Dow Chemical Company. During her last position as Senior Field Distribution and Zone Outplant Manager, she implemented several supply chain programs with Fortune 1000 Dow customers. Prior to that position, Hallett managed Dow Communications and Marketing Services Purchasing where she was responsible for over $60MM in expenditures. While in that position, she created a comprehensive program for supplier performance and contract management for Dow service suppliers, which is still in use today. Hallett started her career with Dow in Packaging & Design, developing, implementing and managing various programs for Dow’s many product businesses. While in that role, she spearheaded programs to optimize Dow’s internal label and packaging processes, reducing Dow internal costs by over $5MM annually. Previous to joining Dow, Hallett worked as a full-time contract consultant to Dow Packaging & Design and also performed marketing research, industrial design, and graphic design services through her company, Ellen Hallett Design. Her clients included: Primary Research, Chicago, IL; The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Chicago, IL; The Center for the Training and Rehabilitation of the Disabled, Chicago, IL; and Instrumentation Laboratories, Boston, MA. Hallett began her career as a Graphic Design Supervisor for Nutech Engineers in Chicago. Hallett earned her B.F.A. in Industrial Design from the University of Michigan. She has served on several corporate boards and fundraising committees, and has supported several local organizations and groups by providing marketing and design expertise and counsel. |
